OPEN ACCESS

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

OPEN ACCESS is a platform for recent yoga teacher training graduates, wherein participants practice teaching and receive feedback from experienced ON AIR guides.

With the growing number of yoga teacher training programs, accelerated by the shift to virtual learning over the past four years, post-training teacher development opportunities and practice pathways are needed to prepare and support aspiring teachers as they embark upon their teaching journey. OPEN ACCESS aims to uphold the integrity of the teaching community-at-large by offering a growth environment for graduates.

HOW IT WORKS

For one month, OPEN ACCESS participants lead weekly 1-hour virtual yoga practices with an ON AIR guide present. Participants will receive four 30-minute feedback sessions with an ON AIR guide throughout the month. Participants will receive rolling support and access to unlimited ON AIR classes for the duration of the program.

ON AIR manages logistics and technical support throughout the program. Practice classes occur on Zoom and are open to all free of charge. Donations are welcome.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Teacher Training Certification. Participants are required to present teacher training course information and completed certification. Upon OPEN ACCESS acceptance, participants must teach in accordance with and in the style of the submitted teacher training certification.

  • Yoga Teacher Insurance

YOUR COMMITMENT

In exchange for OPEN ACCESS, participants commit to demoing a minimum of four main schedule ON AIR classes during the month, sharing our content and supporting building the ON AIR community.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Zoom app

  • Stable internet to support virtual classes

  • A clean, clear space with sufficient light to support a successful teaching and demoing experience. We recommend purchasing a ring light that will be beneficial to you as you continue your virtual teaching with and beyond ON AIR.
